Link High Technologies Inc. is an MSP located in Florham Park, NJ with clients throughout the East Coast.
We are a professional, fast-paced, and customer-centric organization.
This Experienced Senior Support Engineer will join our Support Team in providing support for PCs, networking equipment, servers, firewalls, and desktop operating systems for a variety of small to medium-sized organizations. There will be computers, network equipment, and servers that will need to be configured in our offices for deployment to client sites. Opportunity to do projects ( on-site and cloud) as well.
NOT a remote position. Room to grow within the organization- move to Project Team and vCIO positions.Certification training materials and approved tests will be covered by the company.
Responsibilities and Duties
The candidate should not be opposed to performing a wide variety of IT support, ranging from simple desktop support to server, firewall, and network issues, as dictated by clients and available work. The candidate will work with the rest of the support team, technical account managers, and our project team. This is a senior position that will be the last point of escalation before looping in the Service Manager. We are looking for someone who will take overall ownership of service tickets assigned to the team and to the individual personally.
Qualifications and Skills
Non-Technical:
Must live within 25 miles of Florham Park, NJ. and commute reliably to our offices daily.
Commitment to excellent customer experience is the highest priority.
Willingness to take ownership of issues and take initiative.
Ability to follow internal procedures and document tickets and time daily in our PSA and ITGLUE
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must.
Commit to continuous education, certification and self-improvement.
Technical
RECENT professional experience with a MSP/VAR or IT consulting firm HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Microsoft Windows (server and desktop), AD/DNS- Proficient
SonicWall Firewall or similar Corporate Firewall-Proficient
Office 365 (administration/troubleshooting)- Proficient
Azure- ( VMs, Virtual Desktops) Working knowledge or higher
Networking connectivity & related equipment- Proficient
Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V and or VMware) Proficient
Backup Technologies such as Datto or similar
Experience with ConnectWise Manage, Automate or similar products is highly preferred
Meets all assigned technical training goals
